To introduce myself, I’m Dana. I live in Philadelphia and work out of the coworking space Indy Hall. You could call me a freelancer who specializes in customer support. I work with independent web and software developers to communicate with their customers and help grow their products.
Customer support comes in many flavors and varieties. Anyone selling a product or service will encounter the need to talk to their customers. This goes from the biggest companies, down to the smallest one man team. You make something, people are going to ask you about it, and more likely, complain about it. So, how do you handle that? You, the genius developer, want to work on making your product better, not answer hundreds of emails a day. With this blog I’m going to explore the different avenues of customer support, when it’s needed, and how to handle it. Stay tuned.
